John Goldsmith was appointed to the Board in October 2008, having enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry including 22 years as chairman of Denis M Clayton & Co Limited, a London insurance and reinsurance broking operation that he co-founded in 1972.  In 2008 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the global insurance market publication, Reactions.  John is Chairman of THB's Nominations Committee, and a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Risk Committees.
